Booking Terms & Conditions

The approach to Inchimore Farm

Thank you for choosing a holiday at Inchimore Farm. We look forward to welcoming you. There are a few points you should be clear about before you come, but please call if you feel anything needs clarifying.

Rates

Prices range from €400 to €800. A booking deposit of €100 is payable to secure the reservation. The balance is payable one month before the holiday starts. A further refundable deposit of €100 in cash or by cheque is payable on arrival to cover any extras such as telephone calls, breakages, etc. This will be refunded on your departure or within 14 days if no expenses have been incurred.

The price of accommodation includes the following: Gas; bed linen; towels; tea towels; crockery and cutlery; hot water; one hod of anthracite per day for the Rayburn between October and April; logs for the open fire as stacked in the lounge. (More logs and anthracite are available, but you will be charged a reasonable price for them if you feel you need them.) We can provide a cot, free of charge. There is a selection of spices and sauces available in the kitchen and fresh herbs in the garden.

Electricity is metered so you pay only for what you use.

Additional Services Available

We would be happy to get in shopping prior to your arrival; we could cook an evening meal for you if you like; if you would like to take part in any of our farming activities please let us know; we can also arrange other activities both on and off the farm. There would be an additional charge for any of these.

Pets

They may be welcome, but will depend on prior discussion. There will be an additional charge of €30 per pet. It will be your responsibility entirely to ensure they don’t cause any damage to property, gardens or livestock belonging to ourselves or neighbouring farmers. Owners must never leave pets alone in the house.

Cancellation and Insurance

One you have booked your holiday, you have entered into a legal agreement with us. Your deposit is non-refundable. If you cannot take your holiday, for whatever reason, and the booking cannot be re-let, you are still liable to pay for the booking in full. If we are able to re-let your booking and you have paid for it in full, we will refund it less the deposit and an administrative charge of €25. Your deposit is not refundable so we recommend you take out cancellation insurance.

Non Availability of Accommodation

We would only cancel your holiday if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would attempt to offer you alternative accommodation, but if this is not possible, or unacceptable to you, we would refund all monies paid by you for the holiday. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.

Arrival

Your accommodation will be available to you from 4pm on the day of arrival, unless otherwise arranged. Please try not to arrive earlier – we will still be busy preparing your accommodation and won’t be available to give you the welcome we would like to. You will be met here on arrival by me, Gerry, Greg (my son) or Helen (my daughter-in-law) or maybe all three of us. Please remember there are only very few mobile signal spots above the village, so be sure of your directions before setting out. Local farmers are very helpful.

Departure

Please be ready to leave the accommodation by 10am on the day of departure, unless otherwise arranged. Please try to leave the accommodation as clean as possible. If you have made use of any further services for which payment has not been made during your holiday, we will provide you with an invoice which is payable on departure, or deduct the amount from your deposit.

Damages and Breakages

Please take care of our property. You are responsible for any breakages or damage which you cause to the accommodation or its contents. Please report these as soon as they occur. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we may send you an invoice for repair or making good any damage if it is significant and make an additional charge of €20 if you did not let us know about it.

Liability: We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party, nor any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves.

Your booking details may be kept on our computer files.
